What Stays Poolside: Our Privacy Policy
What happens at the pool stays at the pool. This privacy policy explains, in plain words, what information this site handles and what it leaves alone.
The short version
This site is a catalog. There are no accounts to create, no checkout and no payment forms, so we never ask for your name, address or card details in order to browse. We collect as little as we can, use it only to keep the site working and improving, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
What we collect when you visit
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when a page is requested: the page viewed, the time, the referring page, approximate region, and the type of browser and device. We use this in aggregated form to understand which pages are helpful and to keep the site secure and running smoothly. It is not used to build a profile of you.
When you email us
If you write to contact@swimschoolstore.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use that only to answer your question and to keep a record of the conversation for as long as it is useful. Please do not send sensitive personal details or payment information by email; we never need them.
Cookies and similar tools
This site may use a small number of cookies or similar tools needed for it to function and to measure visits in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the catalog will still work. We do not use cookies to collect names, addresses or payment details.
Links to the partner store
When you press a button to view or buy a product, you leave this site and arrive at our product listing at the partner store. The store may set its own cookies, including ones that tell it you arrived from our site, and it handles your order information under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to read that policy.
Children's privacy
Our gear is for children, but this site is written for the parents and caregivers who choose it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to contact@swimschoolstore.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your choices and changes to this policy
You may ask us what information we hold from your emails, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@swimschoolstore.com or to Aqua-Leisure Recreation, 525 Bodwell Street, Avon, MA 02322. If we update this policy, the new version will be posted on this page, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
