This is the Small/Medium cut of our padded-shoulder trainer vest, for children up to 33 pounds. It is a Level 2 trainer, the step where kids stop sitting in a float and begin moving through the water themselves.

In the water with it

Choose this size for smaller swimmers, with a maximum weight of 33 pounds. The vest goes on easily thanks to a heavy-duty zipper that we cover in fabric, and a padded safety strap adjusts for a secure, comfortable fit. Padded shoulders keep it pleasant to wear, and the UPF 50 fabric protects the upper body from the sun.

Foam pads are built into the vest in a flex-form layout that balances flotation and tips your child into the prone swimming position. From there the vest is designed to propel them forward and encourage using arms and legs together. It supports learning rather than replacing you, so an adult should always be in the pool and close by.
