Four-to-six-year-olds are usually ready to swim farther than their technique allows. This Medium/Large trainer, good up to 50 pounds, keeps them in a proper swim position and includes our removable Chin-Up Collar.

In the water with it

Pick the Medium/Large for children aged 4 to 6 years who weigh up to 50 pounds. It shares the Level 2 design of the smaller size: a comfortable form-fit vest with shoulder sleeves and UPF 50 fabric for the upper body. A heavy-duty zipper under a fabric cover and a padded strap you can adjust keep everything secure.

We place foam pads in a flex-form pattern so flotation stays balanced and your swimmer lies prone, face forward. The vest is designed to propel them ahead and promote arm and leg use. Start with the Chin-Up Collar attached, then remove it and use it as a swim-and-collect target. An adult belongs in the water for every session.

Level 2 starts with a sweater-fit tot trainer that goes on like a favorite top, then moves on to a swim trainer vest with Flex-Form foam and an adjustable safety strap. With that support around the chest, play turns into paddling without anyone calling it a lesson.
